Put my hands on the new iPhone
I visited the Country Club Plaza’s Apple Store today and actually tried out the new iPhone. One word, WOW!!!! I spent at least 30 minutes navigating around the different features and programs. It is wonderful and very easy to use. Used the keyboard and I found it no less user friendly than my Treo 650. The calendar and address book are great. And the way you add a new event is really cool. The touch screen features made all the features on the iPhone very user friendly.
It was also interesting to be able to view both PDF and Word documents as attachments in an email. Again, I found this feature better on the iPhone than on my Treo. There are some who argue that the iPhone is not for the business user. I have to disagree. I just don't see that being a problem. And for those who are slamming the iPhone every chance they get, I would encourage them to go try one. You might be surprised how user friendly this great addition to Apple’s hardware lineup really is.
I plan to get one before the end of the year. In fact, if my wife would not have been with me, I might be using one right now.
