Grant:

I am still re-reading some of your posts for "gems". Thanks for your generosity regarding macs, solo lawyering, blogging, etc.

I mentioned this blog in my first posts as one of the inspirations to begin blogging. (Also, to get a mac, courage to be a solo, and many other things).

Again, thanks for what you do.

Grant:

Wow, you're missing my blogs :-(

www.BKPracticePro.com
www.NewYorkBankruptcyLitigation.com
www.MyThirdWave.com (static site, sorry)

Solo attorney, I work primarily from home. I rent a small office for "show" and client meetings, but do all of my real work from the comfort of home. My blog is about my primary practice area, estate planning.

Grant --

I'm a solo blawger, specializing in health care business and regulatory matters in Boston. http://healthblawg.typepad.com

I only have a small (part of a room) 'home office', but I'm definitely a solo lawyer.

My blog isn't so much about being a home-office lawyer, but I am one.

Left my firm in 1/07, solo now ...

I'm a Solo who does most of his lawyering from home. I chose to be a solo straight out of law school, and I've never considered being anything else. It's REALLY fun to call up on my friends working for Big Laws to tell them that I'm playing with my dogs at 8pm while they're birthing a 70 page document while their boss is out for a week on his yacht. Well, here's my blawg: http://puertoricolaw.blogspot.com/
It's in both Spanish and English, as is practicing law in Puerto Rico. Thanks for asking for my blog, Grant. I really miss your comments in MacLaw...

I've been solo for most of my 15 years in practice. After 1 year with a small, established firm, I hung my shingle for a few years, took on some partners for about 5, then went solo again, about 3-1/2 years ago.

My practice is entertainment law: Theatre, Film, Music, Television, and a bit of I.P. thrown in for good measure. It's a great blend, and really keeps me on my toes.

I've got two sites: http://www.firemark.com, and http://www.theatrelawyer.com

Hey Grant,

I'm opening up a solo office at the end of August. I have two blogs: one about the Mac (http://employeelawyer.typepad.com/soloathome/), and another related to employment law (http://employeelawyer.typepad.com/).

You and Chuck Newton have been excellent inspiration.

I'm leaving the corporate world and hanging my shingle in two weeks. Can't wait. I'll also have a securities regulation law blog up and running too, at http://www.bdlawblog.com.

Commentary on Ohio political, legal, and marketing issues.

I'm not officially a home office lawyer yet, but since you get so much credit for the inspiration of the blog (short of the Mac love), I hope you'll add http://www.HomeOfficeEnvy.com.

Keep up the good work!

How the heck is it that I am not already listed in your blog roll :) Just kidding. Keep up the great work, G. Chris.

No blog yet, but I am a home office lawyer near Boulder, Colorado specializing in virtual in-house employment law and HR consulting type services. Thanks Grant. Have fun in Breck. d

Thanks for your blog and the valuable information.

Steve

Solo for 27 years - blogger for less. Thanks for putting out the call!

I'm opening a solo practice out of my home in August or September. My blog is about my Linux based law office: http://linuxlawoffice.com

Susan -- Of course all my favorites will be moved and better organized.

And of course you will transfer over all your current favorites, right?

I'd be honored to be on your blogroll, Grant. I am a solo and, as of a couple of months ago, a carpet commuter. Your blog played no small part in that decision. No regrets so far!

Hey Grant, if future lawyers count (TN Feb Bar) then here's my response to the roll call.

Zale

And to top it off Chuck, there will be some new changes coming to the Home Office Lawyer blog in the VERY near future. So, when the changes come down, I want to have a new fresh list of home office lawyer, carpet commuters, third wavers and solos. You all will just have to wait and see what is coming for the Home Office Lawyer. HE HE!!

My blog isn't about solo practice, but it is my blog, and I am a solo, so if that's what you're looking for, I'd love to have you list "The California Blog of Appeal" (http://www.calblogofappeal.com) in your blogroll.

Jumping in... http://bostonimmigration.typepad.com -- bilingual (English & Portuguese) blawg.
