Blawg for Profit

Like Michael Sherman I too have had a lot of conversations about blogging and how to make it an effective marketing tool for a solo or small law firm. And when I tell them how many contacts and how many new clients I get from blogging, they are shocked.

Not only is it effective, but your return on investment is outstanding. I get a lot of questions centering around one basic theme, “why should I blog?” My answer is usually, why aren't you blogging? Most will say they don't have time or they just don't think they can do it. I don't want to learn some hard to use software program. What do I have to do to start a blog? Are there services available on the web to host my blog?

Well, since I get questions weekly from lawyers on this very subject, I jumped at the opportunity to create a new program that will answer those questions and more.

I am excited and very honored to have the opportunity to announce that I will be teaming up with Michael Sherman of Lawyer Profit Systems and publisher of the very effective Alabama Family Law Blog. We are in the beginning stages of creating a program that will actually walk the solo and small firm lawyer step by step through the process of creating, launching, marketing and maintaining a blog from its birth to its continued growth.

What is so great about working with Michael on this effort is that we both bring our own “real life” experiences blogging to the creation of this program. While I and Michael can not reveal all of the great features and details of the program, it should be available for purchase in a couple of months. However, in the mean time, we will be offering several FREE resources to help those of you who are ready to take the plunge and launch your own blog.

Both Michael and I will be posting more about this program as information becomes available. In fact, Michael has already done so at his great new blog, Lawyer Profit Systems. And I will be posting more here. We will also be starting a new blog centered around this great new product called Blawg for Profit.

Again, I am excited about this and what it will offer. Today, while Michael and I finished up one of the products we will be offering, we each commented about how much we would have loved something like this when we first started blogging. Which is why we decided to make this offer to you, the readers of this blog. If at any time any of you have any questions you would like answered in this product, let us know. While we won't be able to address each and every question, we certainly want to tackle as many as we can. Just drop me or Michael an email or post a comment here or at Michael’s post mentioned above and we will see what we can do.

Sounds like a very valuable resource. I run into attorneys all of the time that need to be walked through it step by step. I do not have the time for all of them.
