Virtual Meetings

Here is a concept that seems to be really catching on now. Larry Bodine talks about this in more depth in a recent post called, Computer Desktop Brings Remote Meetings to the Masses.

I experienced my first multiple person web meeting last week and it was wonderful. We used GoToMeeting. The only drawback was the fact I had to use Virtual PC to do this meeting on my Mac. Not a big deal, but it was a bit sluggish. Webex does however offer this service for Macs.

As this becomes more and more common, I do plan to do more of them. In fact, I have even purchases a new iSight so I can have not only audio, but video meetings. I see no reason why this can not be used as a way to keep in touch and have meetings with long distance clients.

Let me know your experiences and your thoughts on this.
