RIM has told the Court that its use by government officials make it essential to the smooth operation of the government, and thus an injunction should be denied to NTP; in addition, the fact that the patents have been preliminarily rejected is asserted as an argument against a permanent or temporary injunction; Fascinating brinksmanship going on here. Kind of like a soap opera; can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. Why can't we all just get along? :-)
